Dr. Medford is a licensed clinical psychologist with nearly 20 years of experience serving veterans and their families. Her professional background includes:

  • Former VA therapist, working directly with veterans navigating PTSD, depression, and adjustment issues

  • Extensive experience conducting Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations for the Department of Veterans Affairs

  • Specialized work in Home-Based Primary Care (HBPC), providing in-home psychological support for aging and disabled veterans

  • Support and counseling for veteran caregivers, including spouses and family members who serve behind the scenes

Dr. Medford is not just a clinician — she’s a military spouse with a unique understanding of the culture, stress, and systems surrounding military and federal life. Her husband is a U.S. Army veteran and federal contractor, and together they’ve navigated the same institutions many of her clients face.

Her approach blends clinical rigor with personal insight — helping clients and legal teams receive clear, actionable evaluations backed by both science and heart.
